du Boulay Contracts are main contractors in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector of the construction industry. Working from studios in the unique Royal Victoria Patriotic Building in Wandsworth SW18, the company has built up an enviable reputation over 35 years in fitting out licensed premises – predominantly restaurants, bars, pubs and nightclubs. In addition we have fitted out offices, casinos, hotels, airport lounges and retail units.
Our skilled tradesmen and craftsmen are experienced with the high quality finishes found in restaurant fitting out projects, involving hardwood joinery, marble and stonework, structural and decorative glass, architectural metalwork, upholstery, decorative plasterwork and specialist decorating and fine furnishing.
We regularly work in sensitive listed buildings, shopping centre developments and airports. Michael Reed has overseen the roll out of over 24 Jamie’s Italians since 2008 including complex locations such as Westfield, Canary Wharf and in Grade II listed buildings eg Manchester and Threadneedle St. David du Boulay works closely with Russell Norman in the creation of his Polpo collection and has fitted out all of Russell’s restaurants including the recent Ape and Bird, Shaftesbury Avenue, Polpetto in Berwick St, Polpo in Notting Hill Gate and at the Duke of Yorks.
